Las nominaciones al Oscar

Se anunciaron las nominaciones para los premios Oscar, hay varias sorpresas y muchas confirmaciones, el filme con más nominaciones ha sido The King's Speech o El discurso del Rey, esta cinta inglesa con coproducción de USA y Australia tiene 12 nominaciones, True Grit le sigue con 10 nominaciones, y hay que recordar que Ethan y Joel Coen son consentidos de esta Academia. Con 8 nominaciones otra favorita es The social network y el mismo número para Inception.

En la terna de Mejor Película me parece un despropósito que tengan a tantas nominadas, vaya pusilánime forma de no meterse en problemas de omitir a alguna, en la terna está eso si un filme animado que debe competir seriamente, Toy Story 3, también están 127 Hours, Cisne negro, The Fighter, El origen, The Kids Are All Right, The King's Speech, The social network, True Grit y Winter's Bone.

Breve análisis

Una de las grandes sorpresas está en las cuatro nominaciones de la cinta independiente Winter's Bone que se encuentra en Mejor Película, aprovechando el gran número de vacantes en este rubro y en las ternas de Mejor Actriz para Jennifer Lawrence, Mejor Actor de Reparto para John Hawkes y Mejor Guión Adaptado. También sorprendió que no fueran nominados algunos actores que tuvieron interpretaciones importantes el año pasado, como Ryan Gosling en Blue Valentine, Mila Kunis en Black Swan, Andrew Garfield en The social network y Robert Duvall en Get Low.

En la nominación a Mejor Película Extranjera brillan por su ausencia cintas como También la lluvia, Io sono l'amore y Des hommes et des dieux. Otras sorpresas por igual son no ver a Christopher Nolan en la terna a mejor director, la completa omisión de Greenberg y dejar fuera de la terna de Mejor Documental a Waiting For Superman. Ahora habrá que empezar la quiniela.
